My wife and I own
an upscale 3 bedroom condominium in Stoneridge, located
in the Benchlands at the base of the Wizard Lift on Blackcomb Mountain.
rented our home out over the last 10 years and, after being very unhappy with
three successive management companies, elected to rent directusing an internet
ad. While this was much more efficient (and,
of course, avoided the large management fees), we found it sometimes awkward
todeal with renters in Whistler while we live in Vancouver.
At the beginning of
this season, I was approached by Shirley Hills of Peak to Creek Concierge
Services offering their help in dealing with our guestsin Whistler. I was impressed with the array of services they offered and
signed up with them.
To date, Shirley Hills
has assisted me with 5 different groups, all of whom have been delighted with
her help - which ranged from hotels and rent-a-cars in Vancouver, to restaurant
reservations in Whistler, to delivery of a laptop computer within an hour
of the request! Most of these guests went to the
troubleon their return home to write and say how impressed they were with
the services being provided by Shirley and her firm.
I am convinced that
the cost of the concierge services will be more than recovered in the long-run
as good guests will be more likely to returnagain and will recommend our home
to their friends.

with more repeat rental requests.

means My Peace Of Mind. All guests are greeted and my property
is carefully monitored. Frequent e-mail updates
during a guest stay from Shirley are great. I like

We have used Shirley Hills Concierge
Service for one ski season now. We are definitely signing up again. We got
an early booking for 21 days from a repeat customer. That's the first for
us from Allura. We have repeat bookings due to friends/ family and people
we know. However, with Shirley's Service, we are sure that they will come
back due to her. She also has gotten us out of trouble once when our complex
hot tub was out of service. With her connections, she talked the Chateau Whistler
in letting our guest come down for a good price for us. I tried calling the
Chateau as well. I wasn't as lucky. They just quoted me a regular rate. The
guest were really happy and we didn't have to stress ourselves out too much.
She helps them out! We really appreciated that. From the entries in our guest
book....she is a favourite.

A quick note to say thank you
for hosting us (23rd to 28th Feb) recently in Glacier Lodge. We thought the
accommodation was wonderful and we hope that you found everything as you had
left it before we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Whistler, and
indeed Canada throughout, and we seem to have drummed up interest amongst
our friends for them to visit since we have been back.
We found the Concierge service

in fact enhance our stay, you provide a very good service without being too
imposing. We would be very pleased to have your web address when
it is up and running. Let us know if there are any good deals on two bedroom condo's especially for shorter
stays, say three nights. Maybe even for the second week of spring break
but anytime - just if you see something that looks good but I don't want you
to go to any work as we're not particularly looking for something - just on
the off chance , if you know what I mean.
Otherwise I hope business is good. We gave you
a glowing reference to the owner of the Stoneridge Unit, who we know from
the kids school.

hit it lucky with all of the snow! Thanks again for ALL
of your help. It made our vacation muchmore pleasant! The plumbing was really no big deal. We weren't there enough for
it to really bother us. Thanks for staying on top of that.
